Allergies?

Household pets are the most common source of allergic reactions to humans. Many people think that pet allergy is provoked by the fur of cats and dogs. But researchers have found that the major allergens are proteins secreted by oil glands in the animals' skin and constantly shed in dander, as well as proteins in the saliva, which sticks to the fur when the animal licks itself. When the substance carrying the proteins dries, the proteins can then float into the air.

Older animals produce more dander than young ones because their skin is drier. Animal dander is extremely light weight and tiny in size, and can stay airborne for hours.

Dander Free - is a probiotic spray which contains friendly microbes that feast on dander (dead skin cells) and other micro-biotic waste matter. Dander Free - provides a natural control for dander on dogs, cats & large animals known to cause human allergies.

New Kitten? Start Early!
Cats may be more likely than dogs to cause allergic reactions because they lick themselves more and may be held more and spend more time in the house, close to humans. Cat dander is tough to get rid of. Once a cat has lived in a house for awhile, it is very difficult to get rid of dander. It tends to stick to rugs, mattresses, walls, clothing, and so on. Most soft furnishings--like carpeting, couches, and mattresses--will continue to launch dander into the air years after a cat has left the house. The particles are so small that they pass through the bags of most regular vacuum cleaners and get back into the room air.

Directions: Spray or rub gently every other day for the first week. Saturate your pet's coat down to the skin and let dry. Spray weekly for maintenance. Also recommended to spray furniture and carpeting monthly to get rid of deeply embedded dander. Test for colorfastness before applying.
